Mazzeo combines a fine sandy beach with a renewed seafront promenade and various options for a stay by the sea. The Coppa Sicilia Beach Volley competition was also scheduled to take place in Mazzeo on 23 August 2025. The parish church Parrocchia Santa Maria Goretti on Via Appiano is also a useful orientation point.
