Water parks on Sicily

Visiting water parks is one of the best ways of spending holidays together with the whole family. There are not many water parks on Sicily if to compare with other resorts of the Mediterranean Sea, but in the north and in the south of Sicily there are some wonderful water parks where the tourists can entertain themselves.

The most famous water park in Sicily is Etnaland. It is situated in a small town called Belpasso in the province of Catania at the foot of the famous Etna volcano. There are about 21 water attractions, a park of dinosaurs, a Laser Show and some restaurants. Etnaland is also famous for its Zoo. The park is open since the middle of June. There is no problem of renting a place to stay there. You can rent a house or an apartment in Belpasso and in some other places near it, such as Paterno, Misterbianco, Mascalucia and others. All of them are situated at the distance of not more than 10 km from Etnaland. The tel. numbers are (+39) 095 791 3333, (+39) 095 989 7101.

The territory of the water park is 22000 square km. It was founded in 1992. Nowadays it offers traditional water entertainments and lots of swimming pools for children and adults. Tel. In Europark Roccella there are water mountains, swimming pools, sporting grounds, a solarium, massage rooms, places for picnics, bars and pizza shops.
