It was completed around 1547 and subsequently handed over to the Dominican Order. Raffadali's events calendar reveals different sides of the town. Every year, the Festa della Madonna del Rosario includes a characteristic market for agriculture and livestock farming. The Festa della Madonna degli Infermi, also known traditionally as the Fera di li malati, is dedicated to the Madonna dei Malati, the patron saint of Raffadali. The festival includes a procession of the Madonna statue, which believers follow barefoot. Another local speciality is Macco di fave: to make this cream, dried broad beans are cooked slowly with a vegetable, usually Swiss chard. It is served exclusively with extra virgin olive oil.
