From 10 p.m., music and folklore groups were to move through the alleyways, while locals and visitors could take part in the symbolic ritual of comparatico.

Beyond the historic townscape, Alcara Li Fusi also offers striking landscapes. Lago Maulazzo is an artificial reservoir of around five hectares at the north-eastern foot of Monte Soro. It is nestled in the Sollazzo Verde beech forest. As a result, the lake is notable not only for the water itself, but also for the contrast between the reservoir and the surrounding beech forest.

Above the inhabited area rises Rocca Traora, a limestone formation. It is considered a preferred habitat of griffon vultures in Sicily. In the Area del Grifone, griffon vultures can be observed in flight; the aviary of the reintroduction project is also located there. A guided route in this area begins at the Centro Escursionistico of the Nebrodi Park.

Another nature experience leads to the Grotta del Lauro. The cave contains large stalactites, stalagmites, columns and other calcareous sinter formations.
